At BaselWorld, Harry Winston's Opus project always gives everyone something to look forward to. French watchmaker Emmanuel Bouchet created the 12th edition of the Opus with 27 hands (hour, minute, retrograde, power reserve and seconds) on the dial. It also has 607 parts, with a power reserve of 45 hours that took the team two years to develop and produce. Bouchet devised two security catches for each minute hand, making a total of four catches per index.
