Red Moon

A new Prada male scent, inspired by the world of extreme sailing, will debut next month. Luna Rossa (which means "red moon" in Italian) is named after the sailing team that the Italian marque sponsors. Perfumer Daniela Andrier uses top notes of lavender and bitter orange. Lavender is seldom used in a man’s fragrance, let alone a marine-inspired one. With a heart of sage and spearmint, it settles down to a woody amber-like base.
