If you're looking for a unique wedding venue with all the indoor luxuries of a full-service ballroom, but with the benefit of outdoor tranquility, Hotel Re! offers the elegant Marquee Ballroom - complete with a lawn for garden solemnisations and private carpark.
Located just a stone's throw (or buggy-ride) away from the hotel, the Re!Joice Ballroom opened its doors on 29 October, 2011, to 100 couples, who enjoyed the various wedding themes available, and state-of-the art lighting and audio-visual system. Decorative table themes on display included Enchanted Garden, Retro, Fairytale, Oriental, and Starry Starry Night.
Exclusive one-day-only discounted packages by the hotel and guest vendors such as La Belle Couture and The Aisle Bridal were up for grabs; and jeweller eClarity gave away loose freshwater pearls to couples who "liked" its Facebook page at its booth. Guests also stood a chance of winning a host of lucky-draw prizes such as a pre-wedding outdoor photography package by Imagegarden Photography, a designer bridal gown by The Aisle Bridal, a night's stay at Hotel Re!, and a Cryolipolysis Fat Reduction Treatment by Franck Uber-Aesthetic Clinic.
After a scrumptious lunch buffet prepared by award-winning chef William Pang, guests were serenaded by singers from Wedding Harmony, who performed a medley of English and Chinese love songs. Couples were also treated to a wedding music video screening, featuring a song composed by the talented group.
The audience listened intently as Teck Meng of Imagegarden Photography touched on the importance of hiring professional lensmen for a wedding, the nostalgia of black-and- white images, and his stories of taking local pictures that yet provide an overseas "feel". At his booth, he also provided instant prints to couples.
Guests carried home an attractive goodie bag containing a $200 beauty voucher to Body Contours and $100 treatment voucher to Franck Uber-Aesthetic Clinic.
