The Watch: Tambour Lovely Cup Baguette, by Louis Vuitton.
There’s no doubt Louis Vuitton takes sailing very seriously. After all, the brand’s strong association with the sport goes back to 1983 when it first lent its name to the Louis Vuitton Cup - the challenger series that determines who will race the Defender in the America’s Cup Finals. Then, there’s its fleet of sea-worthy timekeepers (including the Tambour LV Cup Automatic Countdown and Tambour Regate America’s Cup timepieces released earlier this year) that any skipper would be proud to own. It is to this rich nautical tradition that this Tambour Lovely Cup Baguette belongs. It’s a unique piece - there’s only one of its kind in the world. But if it’s a darker-hued design that you’re after, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a black-diamond version (also a unique piece) available.
