This all comes down to respect. If you make plans, stick to them. If you tell her that you miss her, and that you must catch up next week, then follow through. You’re setting up an expectation, so fulfil it. You’re asking your friend to make room in her schedule for you, so honour the time that she puts aside. If you can commit to the plans you make during the week, then she can trust you to commit to the friendship overall.
