At least once a year, we purge our Facebook accounts of friends whose statuses amount to white noise on our News Feeds. But no matter how hard we try to be less nosy, we can’t bear to defriend the following people despite not ever talking in real life. Some of them are genuinely interesting to follow – and others are plain annoying, but lacking in so much self-awareness online that it’s hard not to look away. You just can’t believe that their parody-esque profile is actually real.
