If there's one complaint single women get sick of hearing, it's that nice guys win last. Firstly, because it isn't true, and secondly, because self-pitying guys focus so much on the pitfalls of "niceness" that they fail to recognize the real reasons women find them unattractive: because they're clingy, they're too low-key, or they're too passive. These traits might be associated with niceness, but they're no guarantee that the guy is actually nice, let alone that he'd make a good boyfriend.
