Not everyone likes kids or pets, but it’s commonly assumed that if you dislike one, then you love the other. Still, if you’re one of those people who just happens to hate both, at least refrain from being mean – lest you come off as a sociopath. Who knows, maybe you’ll learn to like them. Or you’ll be one of those people who hates all children and animals except for their own. Just don’t be that person who yells at a young parent when her baby is crying, or who kicks little dogs when they get in the way. No matter how nice you are to the guy, he’s going to think that you’re secretly evil if you mistreat the vulnerable.
