4. Being a daddy’s girl

We’ve heard from more than one guy about wanting to bolt out the door when he found out that his new girlfriend was daddy’s pretty little princess. Having a close relationship with your dad is wonderful, even preferable – but don’t scream at him on the phone just because he bought you a Samsung phone for your birthday instead of an iPhone. If you’re a young working woman still partially living off her parents, or who has to use daddy’s credit card on occasion, don’t sweat it. We all need to start somewhere. Show that you have a good attitude about it by expressing gratitude and respect for your parents, as well as an earnest desire to work hard so you can be fully independent one day.
