There’s a careful line you should tow here. On the one hand, you should avoid signing up for group projects with her just so that you can spend time together. It’s not professional to let your judgment be impeded by infatuation. Instead, seek out small ways to be available. Help her replace the empty water cooler if you spot her struggling with it. Notify her about errors that you spot on her side before the boss sees them. Drop her tips and scoops when she needs them. And at the risk of being friend-zoned, encourage her when she gets scolded for petty things.
