Reconciliation is especially tempting when you dated that person for years and years. You don’t want all that history to go to waste, so you get back together in hope that the breakup will teach that person a lesson. We have to disagree – it’s a shame to “waste” five years of your life on the wrong person, but what’s that compared to a lifetime with the right one?
