We’ve all heard this before: “We were dating for five years and I’m already 29. It’s too late to start over.” We get that it’s a drag to start from square one when you’re close to the so-called “expiration date,” but if you were unhappy enough with someone to break up with him, how happy are you going to be getting married simply to avoid being alone? We don’t live in the 1950s anymore – lots of people find love a little later in life, and you don’t want to one day regret getting married too fast, as a last resort, when someone you like a lot better comes along.
