Infidelities exist for reasons we comprehend (emotional and physical neglect) and for those that we sympathize with (mid life crisis, wanting to taste youth, feel sexy and be loved again at any cost). But you still have no business putting yourself out there to mess up someone else’s life.  

Pick someone who wants to be with you
Wipe your tears. No matter how difficult it may be for lover boy to extricate himself from his relationship, if he really wants a life with you, he will know what to do. We’re not saying go look for someone perfect. But we are saying your time and effort should be better invested in someone who wants you happy. Having an illicit relationship romanticizes forbidden sex and emotional attachment, bonding you tighter than Elephant Glue. Only you know whether it’s worth being the other woman.
