Compromise, don’t cave
No one will ever truly complete you at first sight because a perfect fit only exists in a moment in time. You can’t command life to DHL you a presorted, prepackaged person, labeled: “Met in Paradise, match made in Heaven, problems will not occur.” Great relationships that have you holding hands at 80 exist are living proof that hard work can produce enviable results. Compromises are natural and unavoidable. Just don’t become someone you don’t know just to try to keep someone you found.
