Be yourself but be your best possible self. With all the pressure of Valentine's you shouldn't go adding to it by going along to a singles event and pretending to be someone you're not - like pretending to be the life and soul of the party if you're not really out-going. That said, you should definitely put your best foot forward as first impressions count! And that means doing things like wearing an outfit you feel confident in, and giving yourself time to get ready and not rushing straight from work and arriving in a panic.
