As much as we love them, at the end of the day, Haagen-Dazs’ mooncakes are just novelty ice creams. Not that there’s anything wrong with that – the combination egg yolks, lotus, and macadamia nuts just aren’t for everyone. If you prefer ice cream mooncakes to traditional (or even snowskin) ones, chances are, you like a guy who’s a bit of a guilty pleasure. You know, the ex-boyfriend you can’t seem to quit, the bohemian who makes a living playing the banjo in a café, or the boss who is technically off-limits but too charming to resist.
