Let a man love you because he wants to, not because you’ve asked him to. Some of us date unto marriage, not all do. Don’t expect commitment after a few dates and float magnetized towards everlasting love. Not every man who dates us wants to marry us. Sometimes they just want companionship and a serious relationship hasn’t even broken ground in their mental sphere yet.

Your declaration of love may have freaked him out and he’s frantically figuring a tactful response to throw at you – hence the MIA. Added pressure to give you an answer you want to hear only makes things worse. Give him space. Your positive reinforcement is bait for future efforts to move toward you without punishment.
