If you were antagonised in school, we’ve got some bad news: bullies are just as populous, cruel, and as discriminating in the workplace. If anything, it’s worse because they’re smarter as adults.  School bullies can rob you of your lunch money, but an especially evil office bully can cost you your entire income. They’ll badmouth you to the boss, take credit for your ideas, and purposely leave you out of memos. Granted, overbearing bosses and colleagues exist everywhere, but the difference between someone who expects a lot out of you and someone who has it out for you is the element of personal malice.
